GarageBand iOS offers an easy way to sketch out your musical ideas when you’re away from home, but you might prefer you flesh out and polish your ideas on the desktop version of GarageBand. Fortunately it’s super easy to import your songs from iPad to Mac.
The other cool thing about this is that if you’re a Logic Pro X user, you can follow these exact same steps to open your project in Logic. Just keep in mind that for both GarageBand and Logic, the process is only one way – you can open projects created on iOS on your Mac, but you won’t be able to open projects made on your Mac on iOS.
